PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium capable of achieving fast random access in a slide show. SOLUTION: In a BD-ROM, a video stream and an entry map are recorded while being correlated with each other. A video stream constituting a slide show includes a plurality of IDR pictures. An entry map (EP-map) corresponding to this correlates and indicates the entry time (PTS-EP-start) of each IDR picture in the video stream associated with the entry position (SPN-EP start). The application-type indicates that entry information on the respective picture data constituting a video stream exists in the EP-map and each of the picture data is decoded solely.
