<p>Disclosed is a method for producing a high purity 2-cyanophenylboronic acid which is characterized in that an acidic aqueous solution is added into a reaction liquid containing 2-cyanophenylboronic acid, which is obtained by reacting benzonitrile, lithium 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidide and trialkoxyborane, for performing a contact treatment in the presence of a water-immiscible organic solvent at a pH of less than 7, and then 2-cyanophenylboronic acid is obtained from the organic layer.</p> |
