A cordless induction ironing device and a method for using thereof is provided to generate heat at a bottom plate of the iron by installing an electromagnetic force generator and inducing electromagnetic field. An ironing device comprises an iron(24) having a bottom plate(21), an electromagnetic force generator, and a mounting unit. The electromagnetic force generator induces an electromagnetic field. The bottom plate is heated by electromagnetic field. The electromagnetic force generator is supported by a mounting part wherein the mounting unit is installed. The iron has a water tank. A handle of the iron is placed along a longitudinal direction of the bottom plate of the iron.
