摘要 A pushing device with a braking function of a spindle shaft for a handpiece is provided to assemble simply a steel ball and an operating member by adjusting the position of a press member with an adjusting tool. In a pushing device with a braking function of a spindle shaft(17) for a handpiece, a mounting member(11) has: two guide units(11a) separated in the peripheral direction in the center; an inner screw unit(11b) formed in the front end; and through-holes(11c) separated from each other at the front end, and combined with a body(5) and a motor. An elastic member(12) is disposed in the mounting member. A press member(13) is composed of an annular groove(13a) formed at the peripheral surface and plural insertion grooves(13b) formed on one surface, supported by the elastic member, and disposed in the mounting member. An adjusting tool(14) is composed of a screw unit(14a) formed at the peripheral surface, a groove(14b) formed on one surface, and a fixing projection(14c) formed on the other surface correspondently to the insertion groove of the press member, joined to the inner screw unit of the mounting member, separated from the press member after adjusting the position of the press member and fixed in the mounting member by screws(14d) inserted into the through-holes of the mounting member. Two steel balls(15) are disposed in the annular grooves of the press member through the guide unit of the mounting member and moved along the guide unit to move the press member in the longitudinal direction of the handpiece. An operating member(16) is provided with linear grooves(16a) separated from each other at the inside to guide each steel ball and disposed at the peripheral surface of the mounting member to turn at the angle corresponding to the length of the guide unit of the mounting member. The spindle shaft has an annular sill(17a) formed at the rear end and an insertion projection(17b) formed on one surface of the annular sill correspondently to the insertion groove of the press member. The front end of the spindle shaft is combined with a chuck and the rear end is joined with the motor. The spindle shaft is elastically supported by an elastic member and moved in the longitudinal direction of the chuck.
