<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid polymer electrolyte membrane electrode assembly enhancing power generation performance. <P>SOLUTION: In the solid polymer electrolyte membrane electrode assembly, a binder 13c of an oxidation electrode membrane 13 has a polymer chain gap 13cb passing gas molecules through between adjoining polymer chains 13ca.
