<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handy RFID reader/writer manufacturable at low costs and advantageous for reduction in size. <P>SOLUTION: This RFID reader/writer 1 is provided with a data transmission/receiving part 2 transmitting/receiving data to/from an IC tag without contact, an infrared communication part 3 performing infrared communication with a cellular phone, and a controller part 4 controlling drive of them. The controller part 4 captures overwrite data inputted by a user via the cellular phone through the infrared communication part 3 and transmits the data to the IC tag via the data transmission/receiving part 2.
