<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gripper with a long life, which is inserted in a cavity of a container, for gripping the container by swelling an element, allows easily exchange of components, and exerts a large gripping force. <P>SOLUTION: This pneumatic control finger gripper comprises: a pneumatic control piston 12 alternatively guided and moved in a support 11" and a body together with base and terminal ends; a compression disc 13 connected with a piston at the terminal end of the support and axially moving together with it; and a flexible gripping element 14 assembled between the compression disc and the terminal end of the support and moving between contracted and expanded positions according to a movement of the control piston together with the compression disc between an inactive and active position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
