PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide whether the write-in is made on a backup recording medium or not and to decide the writing timings based on specified conditions. SOLUTION: When decision is made that shot data to be recorded on a recording medium are taken in a specific condition; the write-in of the taken data as a backup is ceased, or the shot data are written as a backup after a specified time. Consequently, it can be decided whether or not the write-in should be performed to a backup recording medium, or write timing can be univocally determined, resulting in suppressing the stress on a user.
