PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nonaqueous electrolytic solution secondary battery superior in cycle characteristics and discharge load characteristics in a nonaqueous electrolytic solution secondary battery containing silicon as a negative electrode active material. SOLUTION: This is the nonaqueous electrolytic solution secondary battery provided with a positive electrode containing a positive electrode active material, a negative electrode containing silicon as a negative electrode active material, and a nonaqueous electrolytic solution containing a solute and a solvent, and as the solvent, a mixture solvent composed of fluorinated aliphatic carbonate, fluorinated cyclic carbonate, and cyclic carbonate is used.
