PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intersection traffic control system for efficiently controlling intersection traffic. SOLUTION: In the intersection traffic control system which can set priority for vehicles entering an intersection and control speeds of the vehicles, entering the intersection so as to pass through the intersection according to the set priority, when a plurality of vehicles entering a designated range including the intersection exist, traveling speeds of the vehicles entering the intersection are controlled so that the vehicles, requiring the shorter length of time to reach the intersection among the vehicles preferentially pass through the intersection in order. When both the vehicle A entering the designated range from a priority road, and the vehicle B entering from a non-priority road exist, the vehicle A is allowed to pass through the intersection, prior to the vehicle B. However, when the length of time, required by the vehicle B for passing through the intersection, is shorter than the length of the time required by the vehicle A to reach the intersection and the vehicle B has already reached the intersection, the vehicle B is allowed to pass through the intersection, prior to the vehicle A.
