PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which actualize new games with high game characteristics. SOLUTION: A control method for a game machine to variable-display a plurality of symbols in a plurality of rows to stop-display the variable display triggered off by stop operation of a player includes: a step wherein internal lottery is performed by games based on a table constituted so that a player wins three or fewer kinds of specific small winning combinations in probability 1/8 or higher in total among a plurality of specific small winning combinations and a step wherein, when a player wins a prize to give a game value higher than the specified small winning combinations, during a period from the next game until a game corresponding to the prize to give a game value higher than the specified small winning combinations is finished, inner lottery is performed by games based on a table constituted so that a player wins specific small winning combinations in probability higher than the probability in total.
