PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling and heating system using geothermal heat as a heat source, which can perform efficient heat exchange with geothermal heat at a reduced setting work cost by dispensing with setting of a cold and hot water tank outdoors, within a building, or on the roof of the building. SOLUTION: In the cooling and heating system adapted to perform heat exchange by a heat pump 11 using geothermal heat and outside air as the heat source, and use the geothermal heat through a water storage tank 1 buried in the ground, a heat accumulation system includes the water storage tank 1 and water or antifreezing solution as heat accumulation medium, a heat collection system includes the heat pump 11, a heat radiation system includes radiating members 12 and 13 and a branch header 16, and a piping system includes a pipe connecting the heat collection system to the heat radiation system, a pump for circulating the heat accumulation medium between the water storage tank 1 and the heat pump 11 and a pump 23 for circulating the heat accumulation medium between the heat pump 11 and the radiating members.
