<p>A portable blender system and method involving a mixing base (100) that is capable of agitating the contents of a container (101). The base (100) includes a structure for rotating a shaft (1000), a recessed well (300) positioned at a top of the mixing base (100), a pressure-actuated switch (302) positioned about the periphery of the recessed well (300), a locking groove (304), and a portable power source (100G). A container (101) may have an opening at one end and a floor at a second end, wherein the base (100) is tapered. The container (101) includes locking members (201) and in a spaced relation about a periphery of the container (101). The container (101) may also include a handle (800) that is externally coupled. The container (101) also includes a ring (1103) that is selectively attachable and removable from the periphery of the opening such that, when the ring (1103) is coupled to the container (101), the user is able to drink from the container (101) without spilling or dripping.</p> |
