With a hinge for doors, windows, and the like, at least one slidable clamping element (5) is supported on at least one fastening part (2), a locked position of the fastening element (2) being achieved through an adjusting element (12, 10), in which locked position the fastening part (2) and the clamping element (5) are held in a pressing tension in the grooves (15, 15') between two flanges (16, 16') mounted on the frame (11) or leaf, which flanges are aligned to one another respectively forming a groove (15, 15') and run parallel, the clamping element (5) is slidable by means of the adjusting element or by means of another optionally separate, adjusting element (9), at least from an initial or release position into an adjustment position, whereas in the initial or release position, the fastening part (2) and the clamping element (5) can be inserted into or removed from the grooves (15, 15') in a direction essentially perpendicular to the plane given by the grooves (15, 15'), and in the adjustment position the fastening part (2) is slidable to and fro in a direction parallel to the course of the grooves (15, 15') for adjustment and is fixed in the remaining directions. |
