<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus preventing subduction of a cover member and generation of noise and preventing engaging failure between a lock claw and a document automatic feeder main body. <P>SOLUTION: Further movement of a driven rotating shaft 38 to an image forming apparatus main body 18 side is prevented in order that a movement restricting part 32 come into contact with the driven rotating shaft 38 when the cover member 20 covers an open part 24 of the automatic document feeder main body 18. At the same time, since size S of an inner diameter for a through hole 46 of a bearing 48 provided on the cover member 20 is set to be greater than a size of an outer diameter T of the driven rotating shaft 38, when the cover member 20 covers the open part 24 of the automatic document feeder main body 18, the driven rotating shaft 38 is freely moved inside the through hole 46 of the bearing 48. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
