<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for generating credits of global warming potential (GWP). <P>SOLUTION: A method for the development or generation of pollution credits by the substitution of lower global warming potential (GWP) haloolefin compounds, preferably fluoroolefin compounds, for higher GWP compounds, such as perfluorocarbon compounds (PFC), hydrofluorocarbon compounds (HFC), chlorofluorocarbons (CFC), hydrochlorofluorocarbon compounds (HCFC), and the like, is used in compositions and processes employing or producing the higher GWP compounds, and receive allocation of pollution credits for such substitution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
