摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an SiCO-Li based composite which is an Si-C-O based composite to enable manufacturing of a negative electrode of a lithium ion secondary battery of higher cycle characteristics and which is doped with lithium so as to improve low initial efficiency that is a shortcoming of this, its manufacturing method, and a negative electrode material for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: This is the SiCO-Li based composite obtained by doping metal lithium or organic lithium compound on the Si-C-O based composite obtained by sintering and mineralizing reactive silane, siloxane having a crosslinked group, or a crosslinked material of a mixture of them. In the case it is used as the negative electrode material for the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, the SiCO-Li based composite has superior initial efficiency and provides superior cycle characteristics and unique discharge characteristics. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
