ELECTROLYTE MEMBRANE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an electrolyte membrane, capable of producing an electrolyte having a relatively high electric conductivity at low cost with minimized synthetic steps, and an electrolyte membrane obtained by this method.

SOLUTION: This method for producing an electrolyte membrane comprises an irradiation process for irradiating a substrate film composed of a polymer compound with radiation, a SO2gas reaction process for reacting the substrate membrane with SO2gas, and an oxidization process for reacting the substrate membrane with an oxidizer. This electrolyte membrane is obtained by use of this method.
