PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insert molding sheet for obtaining an insert molding article excellent in appearance and surface gloss without scratches and adhesion of dust or the like, nor mold staining during molding, and to provide a method for manufacturing the insert molding sheet. SOLUTION: The insert molding sheet is structured by a laminate of a protective film (A), a thermoplastic resin layer (B), an ink layer (C) and a support base material layer (D) in order. The protective film (A) is to be separated after insert molding. The insert molding sheet has the adhesive layer composed essentially of low-density polyethylene containing a tackifier within a range of 0.6 to 5 wt.% on a side in contact with the thermoplastic resin layer (B).
