PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cap mechanism of a liquid droplet ejection head in which a permanent moisturizing effect is obtained by a simple constitution, and a viscosity increase of liquid is prevented, and to obtain a liquid droplet ejector. SOLUTION: A liquid droplet ejection surface 134 of the liquid droplet ejection head 34 is covered by a cap 118. When a power source 140 applies a voltage to a solid electrolytic film attached to a humidifying unit 122, the solid electrolytic film turns hydrogen ions taken in from the outside of the cap 118 to water molecules at the inside of the cap 118.
