PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a worm having simple construction for actualizing effective lubrication while actively utilizing meshing characteristics between the worm and a worm wheel. SOLUTION: A lubrication groove 2 is provided for sufficiently supplying lubricant to a worm tooth face 1a.
