PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide unit capable of properly connecting a terminal part and a feeder, to each other. SOLUTION: The optical waveguide unit 1C includes an optical waveguide plate 2, where a clad 22 holding a core 23 for guiding a light is formed on a surface of a substrate 21, and a sealing block 3 jointed to the optical waveguide plate 2 on the side of the clad 22 with an adhesive 5. A heater 24 and the terminal part 25 are provided on the top surface 22a of the clad 22. The sealing block 3 is provided with an opening for feeder 32, into which the feeder for supplying electricity to the terminal part 25 can be inserted and is also provided with a hollow part 34 so as to surround the opening 32 for feeder on a jointed surface 3a, and is further provided with a communicating part 34a that links the hollow part 34 to the outside.
