PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Tatami fixing member using a foaming body having proper hardness in the vertical direction, flexibility in the horizontal direction and easily processible performance. SOLUTION: This Tatami fixing member is composed of a foaming body having a compressive elastic modulus of 10 MPa or larger in the vertical direction and 1 to 50 MPa in the horizontal direction, and desirably composed of an olefinic resin foaming body having independent foam of a longitudinally long egg shape by laminating nonwoven fabric on a surface. At least an upper surface is desirably partially covered with a hard sheet or a plate-like material having cutting performance by a simple cutting tool such as a cutter from a viewpoint of workability and strength.
