摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a sharp image with small noise by preventing reflected light and self-fluorescence from being generated on an incident end surface of a fine-diameter image transmission part. SOLUTION: The imaging device 1 includes an illumination light source 2 which emits illumination light L<SB>1</SB>, the fine-diameter image transmission part 3 having an end surface 3a disposed nearby a sample A, an objective 4 which makes the illumination light L<SB>1</SB>from the illumination light source 2 incident on the other end surface 3b of the fine-diameter image transmission part 3, and a light detecting means 5 of detecting light L<SB>2</SB>from the sample A which returns through the fine-diameter image transmission part 3 and objective 4. Further, the imaging device 1 is equipped with a shield means 9 of blocking part of the illumination light L<SB>1</SB>on one side in a radius direction to the optical axis C<SB>O</SB>of the objective 4 nearby a pupil position B of the objective 4 or a position B' optically conjugate to the pupil position B.
