METHOD AND DEVICE FOR HANDLING GUARANTEED BIT RATE SERVICE BEARER IN EVOLUTION NETWORK

A method for handling guaranteed bit rate service bearer in evolution network is provided. The method comprises: adding service bit rate information in the establishment/modification request, AGW requesting the eNB for service bearer establishment/modification, and taking bit rate information in the service bearer establishment/modification request. The eNB determines radio resource according to the service bit rate information and establishes/modifies the service bearer, which has a mapping relation with the radio resource. To add service bit rate information, such as MBR, GBR, in the service establishment/modification request, and to refer to the bit rate information during the service bearer establishment/modification, can realize the bearer establishment/modification of GBR service, such as voice communication and video communication, in the evolution network.
