A cross bar locking device of a roof rack is provided to prevent abrasion of the surface of a cam portion of a locking lever and to allow a fastening member to be fitted to a fastening groove tightly. A cross bar locking device of a roof rack(110) includes a movable member(140), a fastening member(150), a locking lever(160), and a reinforcing wire(180). The movable member is arranged at both ends of a cross bar(130). The fastening member is fitted to the movable member, and has a front end selectively fitted to a groove(112) formed at the roof rack and one side equipped with a support pin(151). The locking lever is arranged on the outer surface of the fastening member, and has a cam portion(162) contacting the support pin. The reinforcing wire is arranged on a surface of the cam portion so as to prevent damage to the surface.
