A broadcasting program recording method using a broadcasting terminal, the broadcasting terminal using the method, and a system therefor are provided to record a broadcasting program through another terminal on behalf of the current broadcasting terminal if the program is not able to be recorded within the remaining amount of a battery of the current terminal, thereby recording the program in any cases. The first broadcasting terminal(110) perceives the remaining amount of a battery according to a broadcasting program recording request of a user. It is decided whether a broadcasting program is recordable within the perceived remaining amount of the battery. According to the decided results, a signal for demanding proxy recording of the program is generated to the second broadcasting terminal(120). The generated signal is transmitted to the second broadcasting terminal(120).
