A printer and method for manufacturing a printed corrugated cardboard product are disclosed in which a corrugated cardboard sheet is prepared and comprises a corrugated core sheet and at least a first liner sheet, the crests of the corrugated core sheet being secured or glued to the first liner and the first liner has visible press marks. Ink jet printing of the first liner is carried out so that the visible print marks do not become more conspicuous. The other or second liner of a doubled-faced of the same corrugated sheet may be printed at a high throughput before the first liner is printed off-line in an ink jet printer. |
