An apparatus for cooling exhaust gas is provided to reduce volume, weight and manufacturing costs of the apparatus by including an exhaust gas passage, a first cooling unit and a second cooling unit. An apparatus for cooling exhaust gas comprises an exhaust gas passage, a first cooling unit(101) and a second cooling unit(103). The exhaust gas passage allows exhaust gas to be flowed. The at least one first cooling unit includes a cooling water inflow port(107) and an exhaust gas inflow port(105), and cools the exhaust gas. The at least one second cooling unit includes a cooling water discharge port(111) and an exhaust gas discharge port(109), and cools the exhaust gas cooled in the first cooling unit.
