A system and a method for providing an overseas road guidance service using a roaming service are provided to provide a location and road guidance information to a user who travels or is on a business trip to a foreign country through a radio data roaming. A road guidance server(400) receives an overseas road guidance service request signal from a mobile terminal(200), which receives GPS information from an artificial satellite(100) and has an international roaming function, through an international roaming section including an overseas base station(300), generates road guidance service information, and transmits the generated information to the mobile terminal through the international roaming section. An overseas geographical information management server(500) is provided in a foreign area where the mobile terminal is located, stores geographical information of the foreign area, and transfers the geographical information for the road guidance service information by interworking with the road guidance server.
