A method of providing a service for user search, and an apparatus, a server and a system for the same are provided to search users who use similar contents in real time and to exchange information with searched users. A method of providing a service for user search includes the steps of: transmitting a terminal searching request message having a contents information element to a service providing server(120)(S220); extracting a searching key word from the contents searching request message(S225); searching contents related to the extracted searching key word(S230); producing a contents list(S235); transmitting the produced contents list to a terminal(S240); displaying the contents list when the terminal receives the contents list from the service providing server(S245); generating a contents transmission request message including identification of corresponding contents when a contents transmission request is received from a user A(S255,S255); and transmitting the contents transmission request message to the service providing server(S260).
