A mobile communication terminal having a multimedia regenerating function and a multimedia regenerating method thereof are provided to solve inconvenience that the regeneration of a file is stopped in case that an environment setup for a multimedia regenerating application is changed. A multimedia regenerating method of a mobile communication terminal having a multimedia regenerating function comprises the following several steps. A multimedia regenerating application is executed and a corresponding multimedia file is regenerated according as a user selects regeneration of the multimedia file(S10). In case that a menu for changing an environment setup for the multimedia regeneration application is selected, the multimedia regenerating function is performed and at the same time, an environment setup menu for enabling a user to input changed items of the environmental setup is displayed(S12). The changed items of the environmental setup are reflected on execution of the multimedia regenerating application while the multimedia regenerating function is being performed(S14).
