A MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL, AND METHOD OF PROCESSING INPUT SIGNAL IN A MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL WITH TOUCH PANEL

A mobile terminal and a method for processing inputted signals in the mobile terminal having a touch panel are provided to implement an inputting device in a much smaller area and to make a main body compact by performing functions of a touch type key button and a touch wheel in one area on the touch panel. A mobile terminal comprises a touch panel(120), a controller(110) and a group of LEDs(130). The touch panel(120) detects a contact position or movement. The controller(110) generates inputted signals matched with pushing of specific keys on the basis of the contact position, and generates inputted signals matched with directional movement on the basis of the contact movement pattern. The specific keys are among plural number keys, and the directional movement is among upward/downward/left/right movement, volume up or volume down. The group of LEDs(130) includes plural LEDs. The controller(110) makes one LED immediately emit light on the basis of the contact movement or the instantaneous contact position.
