The lead-in of a conductor through an insulating body (Fig. 1) comprises a body member 2 with a metal tube 1 embedded therein through which extend several conducting wires 3, e.g. of silvered copper, a tube end is mechanically deformed and the protruding ends of the wires are then bent over this end of the tube and squeezed by a metal terminal sleeve 5 placed thereon. Sealing is effected by application of a plastic or solder 6. An embodiment (Fig. 2) comprises a metal casing 7 housing a semi-conductor device 9 which is connected to the lead-in conductor through a contact body 10. |
