A beverage dispenser has a handle (19) for operating a dispense mechanism, and may have a pop-up display plate (20) for presenting information to a customer in response to actuation of the handle (19). The display plate (20) is movable from a concealed position to an exposed, active position in which the information is displayed in response to movement of the handle (19) from an inoperative position to an operative position for dispensing a beverage. Alternatively the handle may be fitted with LEDs which illuminate when a beverage is dispensed. |
