The present invention refers to a system that through vertical digital projection (9) (10) and the use of wireless interactive input devices (7) converts a simple surface - i.e. a table - (1) into a virtual work and collaboration desktop. This system - which can be used by multiple users simultaneously (figure 3) - offers the ability to execute any function a computer supports and offers new specialized possibilities for viewing, organizing, editing and storing digital files (mainly images, drawings, videos and multimedia files). The system is a manageable and effective tool for team work and corporate presentations as it provides the opportunity to multiple users to easily and intuitively manage computer data simultaneously. One of the basic characteristics of the system is that it supports the dynamic rearrangement, rotation and moving of projected data so that all users may have access to all data irrespectively of their position.
