REAL-TIME UPDATE SYSTEM FOR RECEIVING SCREEN OF A MULTIMEDIA MESSAGE AND MOBILE PHONE USED IT

A system for real time update of a receiving screen of a multimedia message and a mobile communication terminal having the same are provided to display multimedia message contents, from time when reception of the multimedia message is started to time when the reception is completed, in real time to enable a user to confirm the contents, thereby cutting down the latency time of the user, and minimizing generation of unnecessary costs by enabling the user to stop reception of the message if an undesired message is received during reception of the multimedia message. A packet receiver(210) receives a multimedia message data packet. A packet analyzer(220) detects each data block boundary composing a multimedia message by analyzing the multimedia message data packet received by the packet receiver. A display controller(230) updates a multimedia message screen by displaying data of an area between previous data block boundary and the detected data block boundary on a screen whenever the packet analyzer detects each data block boundary composing the multimedia message.
