Pearl polymerizate exhibiting an organic solvent residual of less than 500 ppm, is new. An independent claim is included for a procedure for removing of organic solvent from pearl polymerizate comprising subjecting the pearl polymerizate and organic solvent to distillation under addition of a water-soluble carboxylic acid.
