An oxidation catalytic converter (7) placed in exhaust gas manifold section (3) converts nitric oxide contained in exhaust gas into nitrogen oxide. A hydrolysis catalytic converter (8) is placed in exhaust gas manifold section (4). The downstream of catalytic converters are provided with manifold sections which are discharged into a common main exhaust gas manifold (9). The reduction agent containing ammonia is supplied into manifold section (4) which is placed upstream of hydrolysis catalytic converter, by a nozzle (11).
