A spring unit comprises a first spring 4 and at least two further springs 6,8 located within said first spring and being formed integrally with said first spring. The diameter of the first spring is constant, whilst the diameters of the at least two further springs reduce from one end to the other end of the spring. The spring unit may be a pocketed spring unit. An upholstered unit may comprise a plurality of spring units and may incorporate other forms of spring and/or spring unit. |
