<p>The method involves measuring a bone conduction hearing threshold level of a patient, and providing a database with a typical sound conducting portion for number of typical hearing losses. The sound conducting portion is selected from the database. The measured threshold level is leveled based on the selected conducting portion and a target gain curve is determined based on the leveled threshold level. The conducting portion is correlated with the measured threshold level in a predetermined spectrum section. An independent claim is also included for a device for determining a target gain curve for a hearing aid.</p> |
