COLLECTOR FOR BORE CUTTINGS

The invention relates to a collector for bore cuttings that are produced when a bore hole is drilled in the ground. Said collector comprises a housing having a face that can be oriented towards the ground and a back wall spaced apart therefrom. The face and the back wall have housing openings that are aligned in relation to each other, whereby a drill can extend through these openings. The housing encloses a cleaning device which cleans the drill when it is withdrawn from the housing, and a dirt collection chamber. The aim of the invention is to improve the collector for bore cuttings in such a manner that bore cuttings that are produced when a bore hole is drilled are reliably collected and no bore cuttings can escape when the drill is withdrawn from the housing. For this purpose, the cleaning device is adapted to clean the rotating drill during drilling.
