A receptacle for waste comprises a waste bin, a waste bin liner (10) and a holder for holding the waste bin liner (10) within the waste bin. The holder comprises a strap (2) arranged to form an expansible ring (1), the strap (2) having opposite ends (3, 7) which interengage, the ends (3, 7) of the strap carrying interengaging formations (6, 8) which are engageable at a plurality of different positions corresponding to different degrees of expansion of the ring (1), and which, when engaged, resist contraction of the ring (1). The upper portion (9) of the waste bin liner (10) is folded over the holder so that the upper portion (9) of the waste bin liner (10) is located between the holder and the inner wall of the waste bin. |
