A system for display of items of footwear, the system comprising a support stand (2) of magnetisable material, and an array of items of footwear (6) placed against the support stand, each item of footwear having an insert (20), each insert having flexibility and resilience such that it can be manipulated into the footwear item and then held in place by pressure against inner surfaces of the item, and each insert including an ferromagnetic disc (26) that provides a force of attraction sufficient that the footwear item is held in place in the array against its own weight by reason of the magnetic force of attraction between the ferromagnetic disc and the support stand. |
