A press mold is provided to stably prevent escape of thermoplastic resin when a top mold and a bottom mold mates with each other. A press mold includes a top mold(10) having a cavity(11) and a bottom mold(20) for closing the cavity through contact with the top mold. The bottom mold has a groove(25) formed by upwardly protruding an outer rim of the bottom mold, and the top mold has a fitting portion(15) formed by contracting an outer rim of the top mold. The fitting portion is fitted into the groove. The top mold has a stepped portion formed by rounding an edge thereof for containing thermoplastic resin(30) escaped from the cavity. The bottom mold has a groove(26) formed by depressing a top inner surface thereof for containing the resin.
