Pyrimidine compounds of formula (1): wherein R¹ is C₃-C₇ alkynyl optionally substituted with halogen; R² and R³ are independently hydrogen or the like; and R⁴ is C₃-C₇ alkynyloxy optionally substituted with halogen, optionally substituted phenyl, or the like have an excellent pesticidal effect.
