VERTICAL DISPLACEMENT ABSORBING TYPE SHEET PILE FOR RIVER WATER PROOF WALLS

Sheet piles interlocked with a sliding joint are provided to improve stability and durability of a wall assembled with the sheet piles as well as a structure above the wall by avoiding rupture caused by uneven distribution of applied load. A sheet pile is split in two divided sheets. One divided sheet(10a) has a J channel(11) at one side and a C-shape channel(21) at the other side while the other divided sheet has a J channel at one side and a T-shape channel(22) at the other side so that two divided sheets are assembled by interlocking the C-shape channel with the T shape channel. Balls are placed in between the C-shape channel and the T-shape channel to reduce friction.
