<p>A method for manufacturing an inorganic insulating material using waste shells is provided to produce the lightweight insulating material which has an improved heat-insulating effect and does not emit harmful materials upon firing. A method for manufacturing an inorganic insulating material using waste shells includes: a pre-treatment step(S110) of removing seawater and foreign substances from the waste shells; a grinding step(S120) of pulverizing the pre-treated waste shells into fine powder; a mixing step(S130) of adding a blowing agent which is an azo di-carbide amide and a dispersing agent to the fine powder, mixing the admixture to obtain an intermediate material, and adding a binder to the intermediate material to obtain a final material; and a molding step(S140) of putting the final material into a mold, and heating the mold to predetermined temperature to obtain a molded material.</p> |
