A sound communication network is provided to configure a PAN(Personal Area Network) of a user's peripheral area only through download of software in all portable terminals, which are currently used, without replacing a portable terminal or adding a special transmitter. A PAN(Personal Area Network) coordinator(101) is capable of doing sound and electric communication and disciplines communication flows within a network. One or more AND devices(102~106) are connected with the PAN coordinator through a sound and/or electric communication channel. The PAN coordinator includes a converter for performing inter-conversion between sound communication protocols and electric communication protocols, and may be connected with the other external communication network.
