An LCD device and a driving method thereof are provided to reverse polarity of pixel data for every two horizontal periods by using driving data reversed polarity of data for every 2n horizontal periods. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes a data driver(132) and a liquid crystal panel(134). The data driver converts digital data to analog data, reverses polarity of the analog data for every kn dot periods, where k,n are two or more integers, and outputs the reversed result. The liquid crystal panel includes plural data lines for the analog data, plural gate lines for scan signals, cross sections formed by the data and gate lines, plural switching elements for driving liquid crystal cells disposed in the cross sections, and first and second switching elements, which are connected left and right data lines of the switching elements. Polarity of the analog data, which is charged in the liquid crystal cells, is reversed for every n dot periods.
